OUR SERVICES

We provide services on all aspects of small ruminant (sheep and goats) breeding and production, from consultation and advice to design and management of large scale intensive production projects.

Intensive production system design construction and management. We provide full life-cycle consultancy services from design and construction on green field site to fully-operational intensive breeding and production facilities with capacity to operate in extreme climate conditions. We also train local management, technicians and staff to run the facilities autonomously.

Breeding advice. We design systems to build a flock structure with the aim of identifying the superior animals, then apply our best practice artificial breeding and rapid breeding techniques to multiply the number of these superior animals to meet the needs of the production requirements (lambs, fibre, meat, milk).

Accelerated breeding programs. We specialise in designing 3-in-2 and 5-in-3 accelerated programs to maximise lamb production. The implementation requires a much higher level of technical training which we provide to local staff to manage.

Auditing services. We provide ongoing services to our clients to identify opportunities and priorities for improvement to ensure their production continues to meet meet their business objectives.

KEY PROJECTS

We have worked with clients in more than 30 countries worldwide, including Australia, China, UK, USA, South Africa, Brazil, Russia, Spain, Iran, Yemen, UAE and France. Here are some examples of our recent and current projects.

Gansu China

The scope of the project was to design and build an intensive breeding facility for 40,000 breeding ewes from green field site to fully-operational to handover to local management. We were involved in every aspect of developing the production systems, the flock, feeding, climate control in extreme conditions, waste management and artificial breeding. We trained and handed over to local management.

RSG Indianapolis

The brief? To design and develop the largest semen collection facility in the world and train the business owners in the most up to date artificial breeding techniques.

Hassad Food, Australia

In this project we used artificial and accelerated breeding techniques to develop a large production flock of 20,000 sheep over three years, from an initial nucleus flock of 200 ewes.

Grange Merinos

Over a six year period, we transferred 10,000 embryos per year to take a start-up business to be one of Australia’s top three sheep studs.
